How to organise desk cables and keep them within reach
Start with cables you connect and disconnect every day. A holder on the desktop keeps their ends accessible; cable routing and the power strip need their own space.
1. Choose what should stay within reach
Separate everyday cables from those that stay plugged in. Place your phone charger and other loose ends near where you use them. Try the arrangement for a working day before fixing anything: you may need that space for writing or moving the mouse.
2. Check the diameter and surface
Measure the cable, not the connector. OLSAAL holders accommodate cables up to 7.5 mm in diameter; each holder measures 22 × 22 × 17.5 mm. Leave room to open the lid. Adhesion depends on your desk finish: follow the supplied instructions and do not assume every surface is suitable.
3. Try the route before sticking
Leave enough cable to connect and move your device normally, without tension or pinching. Open the magnetic lid, position the cable and close it. Test movement before choosing the final position. A small cable holder is not a support for heavy cables or a power strip.
4. Keep the arrangement simple
The set contains six holders and six replacement adhesive pads. Use as many as you need; white and black finishes are available. Before rearranging, check the adhesive removal instructions and your desk finish. Mark-free removal cannot be guaranteed on every material.
